DSL Arms

I have got to stop using Bing for image searches
Reviving an old practice, let’s take a look at last year’s DSL Arms and see how they progressed…

Jeffrey Familia, LHRP
2024: 4-2, 3.77 ERA; 15G, 8GF, 1SV, 31IP, 32K, 17BB
2025: DNP (Released)

Jose Feliz, RHSP
2024: 1-3, 2.96 ERA; 10GS, 45⅔ IP, 54K, 11BB
2025: 2-1, 2.20 ERA; 14G, 13GS, 61⅓ IP, 51K, 12BB in the FCL → Made 2026 Watchlist

Darrel Lunar, RHRP
2024: 2-1, 4.00 ERA; 15G, 4GS, 2GF, 36IP, 41K, 13BB
2025: 1-4, 4.93 ERA; 14G, 10GS, 45⅔ IP, 47K, 24BB

Jean Robles, RHRP
2024: 0-1, 3.95 ERA; 14G, 4GF, 1SV; 27⅓ IP, 30K, 14BB
2025: 3-6, 5.31 ERA; 12G, 11GS; 42⅓ IP, 45K, 26BB

Jose Sanchez, RHRP
2024: 4-1, 2.91 ERA; 15G, 12GF, 3SV; 21⅔ IP, 28K, 12BB
2025: 3-2, 7.64 ERA; 13G, 7GF, 1SV; 17⅔ IP, 17K, 9BB

One release, one stateside move, one with a decent repeat of the level. Given how volatile teenage pitchers are in general, never mind IFAs, I’ll take it.

Now, last summer’s standouts:
Juan Reyes, LHSP
DOB: 3/24/05
5-2, 0SV; 2.40/3.43/0.97, 7.8 K/9IP, 2.0 BB/9IP in 60IP (12GS)
His dexterity just might offset his age for a look-see in the FCL

Yaiker Torrelles, RHSP
DOB: 2/20/07
2-2, 0SV; 4.38/3.67/1.46, 8.8 K/9IP, 4.4 BB/9IP in 24⅔ IP (9G, 7GS)
Will probably repeat the level

Greyson Jimenez, RHRP
DOB: 9/21/04
2-0, 0SV; 1.42/3.95/1.30, 5.7 K/9IP, 3.6 BB/9IP in 25⅓ IP (12G, 2GF)
Should be good enough to stick, if not go to West Palm Beach, but stranger things have happened.

Enmanuel Carela, RHRP
DOB: 3/10/07
0-1, 0SV; 2.08/4.73/1.19, 7.4 K/9IP, 4.2 BB/9IP, 7HBP in 27⅓ IP (14G, 4GF)
The numbers say Florida-bound, the age says “Let’s see if he can start,” much like the Nats did with several of the ’24 DSL Arms

Marlon De La Cruz, RHSP
DOB: 11/03/05
1-6, 0SV; 4.50/4.75/1.60, 9.4 K/9IP, 5.4 BB/9IP, 8HBP in 50IP (12GS)
Hasn’t been released yet, but that could simply be that the MLB interns haven’t gotten around to updating his player page.
