Ford was acquired in December 2025 in a Cyrano-for-Solo trade with Seattle. Drafted out of HS in 2021, the Georgia native has played one season at all five domestic levels and made his MLB debut last September after posting a solid .868 OPS in AAA. There are questions about his defense, which led the Mariners to briefly try him in LF for 8G in ’24, but scouts now believe he’s tightened up his receiving from fringy to average.
Caleb Lomavita   Caleb Lomavita

Career Stats
While Lomavita played well enough to merit (or be given) a bump to AA to the left of the plate, it’s hard not to notice the 21 errors in 76 games behind the plate. Just as troubling: a SLG% of just .374, which was NOT related to Frawley because he hit for MORE power at home than on the road. Scouts go on and on about his athleticism, but it’s a skill position and at what point do the Nats decide to try him elsewhere?
Kevin Bazzell   Kevin Bazzell
Born: 3/29/03
Ht. 6’1″
Wt. 205
Bats: R
Throws: R
Career Stats
Bazzell repeated Low-A and started slowly on offense before posting OPS’s of .710 and .750 in July and August. Despite being listed as 205 and 6-1, he’s described by scouts as undersized with below-average blocking and framing skills. He can, however, throw – nailing 59 of 90 basestealers (40%). A trip to Wilmington seems most likely for 2026.
Nate Rombach   Sir Jamison Jones
Born: 5/19/06
Ht. 6’2″
Wt. 225
Bats: R
Throws: R
Career Stats
Signed too late in 2024 to play in games that count, Jones began his pro career in the FCL ins 2025. He posted a line of .233/.379/.383 with four homers in 40 games. Defensively, he threw out 26% of basestealers and had a .987 FPct. Scouts are not worried about his ability to stay behind the plate in terms of size or skill. The question is whether the bat will be there, too.
Carlos Tavares   Daniel Hernandez
Born: 2/16/08
Ht. 6′
Wt. 165
Bats: L
Throws: R
Career Stats
Hernandez signed a year ago for $1M, turned 17 last February, and made his debut in the DSL last May. Unless he puts on a some weight without compromising his athleticism, he may need to change positions. Most of his skills are raw but scouts love the swing, likening him to a 2nd-Rd. HS pick had he gone in the 2025 Draft.
