When a position player is your most effective reliever, you know it was bad night for the Red Wings, who were broasted by the Mud Hens, 16-5. Bryce Conley took the brunt of the beating, serving up seven runs on seven hits (three HR) over four innings. Andrew Pinckney singled three times and tripled once while José Tena and Yoyo Morales each had two hits to pace the Rochester offense.

Harrisburg pushed across the tying run in the top of the 9th only to have Erie lead off the 9th with a triple. Jack Sinclair then walked the next two batters but did not get the strikeout, popup, or comebacker necessary to cordero out of the jam, instead losing, 3-2. Jake Bennett turned in five innings of one-run ball on four hits, two walks, and three whiffs in a no-decision. Cayden Wallace singled, doubled, and score twice, and stole a base to lead the Sens attack.

Eriq Swan could only go six and had to watch the Blue Rocks ‘pen to turn a 3-1 lead into 5-3 loss. Lucas Knowles retired five of ten batters let in four runs for the blown-save-loss. Jared McKenzie had two singles and a double to lead Wilmington’s six-hit, six-walk offense.
