Seth Shuman neutered the Bulls for six innings on two hits and one walk while striking out four. It was his third straight start of five or more innings and one run or less… and his third straight no-decision. Patrick Weigel lost the shutout with a leadoff HR in the top of the 7th. Back-to-back doubles by Andrew Knizer and Darren Baker evened up the score in the bottom of the 7th, but Baker’s two-bagger would be the only hit in 13 RISP as Rochester left on eight men on the night. The loss went to Parker Dunshee on two walks (one intentional), two sacrifices (one fly), and a single.
Harrisburg vs. Altoona – PPD
It may be hard to believe, but the Senators were rained out for just the second time this season. They’ll make it up with a doubleheader today.
Jersey Shore vs. Wilmington – PPD
Likewise for Wilmington, with just the second rainout for the Blue Rocks. They’ll make it up tomorrow with a twi-night twinbill.
Fredericksburg vs. Delmarva – PPD
It was the third postponement for the FredNats, who will play the Shorebirds tonight for two games at 5:05pm. Officially, the Game Two starter is TBD but there may be something to be inferred from this.

Oof.
I wonder how much of the Dickerson promotion was to give him and Feliz the everyday SS jobs?
Shuman making the most of his stuff, only 82 pitches to get through six.
as long as Lipscomb is in the system Dusty’s kid will never get another chance
Great point , Fred MD.
The FCL game reminds us old relics who loved watching a Cubs matinee slugfest on WGN with the wind blowing out especially with Dave Kingman either a Cub or an opponent .
I know I’ve said every year : bullpens evolve but this is one long drawn out evolution mixed with childhood summer camp musical chairs .
Elijah Green strikes out more often than a nerd convention hitting on hooters girls over wings and beer …
the Blue Rocks’ offense is really bad, I think that makes Seaver King’s development more difficult.
