Rochester Red Wings, 8-24, 10th place I.L. East, 14½ GB
Rochester somehow managed to win two out of six last week but remains firmly in dead last in the International League. This week they hit the road for lovely Moosic, PA to visit Scranton/Wilkes-Barre for seven games, including a doubleheader tomorrow. Roster moves: LHP Colin Poche elected free agency. No word on whether the door hit him on the way out.
Harrisburg Senators, 13-14, T4th place E.L. Southwest, 4GB
The Senators took four of six last week to move into 4th place. The last-place Squirrels come to town again with a Wet Nose Wednesday tomorrow morning.
Wilmington Blue Rocks, 9-18, 6th place Sally Lg. North, 8GB
On paper, this looks like a very rough week for Wilmington as Hudson Valley, the Sally League’s best pitching staff (3.31 R/G), faces its worst hitters, the Blue Rocks (3.41 R/G).
Fredericksburg Nationals, 13-13, 4th Place C.L. North, 5GB
Somehow it’s May and this is only the first series between the FredNats and the Hillcats, which will include a day game tomorrow. The FredNats are currently on a four-game losing streak.

The FCL Nationals dropped four-spots in the 3rd and 6th innings to drop the FCL Cardinals, 8-2. Jose Feliz went the first four innings, shutting out the F-Cards on one hit, no walks, and striking out seven in his first start stateside. Luke Johnson picked up his first pro win with a run let in on three hits over two innings. He walked none and struck out none. Sam Peterson and Manuel Cabrera combined for four singles and three runs scored as the F-Nats piled up 10 hits and drew three walks on the afternoon.
At this point, the FCL Nats are easily the most interesting team to watch. With Dickerson, Sykora, Feliz, Petersen, Jones and Tejeda, there’s a lot to be excited about. Though Sykora, Dickerson and Petersen are unlikely to stay there for very long.
very impressive first outing for Jose Feliz. faced the minimum over his four innings on 51 pitches. with a WHIP under one and an ERA under three last year in the DSL he is the one to watch for me.
