The Red Wings sent nine men to the plate in the 5th and six of them came around to score to open up a 10-1 lead that the bullpen didn’t squander for a 10-6 win. Cade Cavalli struck out a season-high eight but struggled to locate his fastball, needing 73 pitches to get 12 outs. He scattered six hits, gave up one run and one walk. Konnor Pilkington picked up the win with two scoreless innings as the first man out the ‘pen. Daylen Lile led the Rochester hit parade with two singles, a double, and a triple, and three RBI while Robert Hassell matched the RBI tally with a three-run HR to highlight the six-run 5th. Roster moves: UT Trey Lipscomb optioned from Washington.

Every Harrisburg batter had a hit but the 14 singles only produced four runs as Altoona prevailed, 5-4. Starting and losing pitcher Bryce Conley gave up all five Curve runs on seven hits and two walks over three and 2/3rds innings. He struck out two and hit a batter. Nick Schnell led the Senators hit column with three singles, followed by Kevin Made, Phillip Glasser, and Carlos De La Cruz. Harrisburg also struck out 14 times with three batters whiffing three times.

A triple broke up the no-hitter in the 6th and an error ended the shutout as the F-Mets edged the F-Nats, 1-0. Jose Feliz extended his scoreless innings streak to 13 with five no-hit frames. He walked one and struck out four. Bryan Sanchez took the loss on the unearned run in the 6th. Angel Feliz singled twice, Helder Rosatio once, and Andrés Chapparo doubled to round out the FCL Nationals hit column of four.

In the second game, the FCL Nationals blew a 3-0 lead in the top of the 5th to fall behind 4-3 but answered with two runs in the bottom hald of the inning to earn a doubleheader split with a 5-4 win. Luke Johnson went the first four and allowed no runs on two hits and a walk while striking out five. Reilin Ramirez retired one of five batters faced before giving way to Euri Montero, who allowed both inherited runners to score and “earn” the blown save. The win went to newcomer Tommy Kane with two scoreless innngs, though he walked three. Manuel Cabrera hit a three-run HR while Eyeksson Rojas singled in the tying run and Jamison Jones hit a sac fly to plate the winning run.
