Lots of good pitching performances to go around.
Morales finally got a HR! Hope this unlocks a power hot streak.
Very worrying start from Seaver King. He’s now hitting .077 with a 48.3 K%. How come almost all of the Nats’ top prospects are so prone to striking out?
Ok ! Oh Susana
Young JR Richard !
Did he hit the Durham Bull mascot last night ?
Seaver King might have watched his Alma mater get spanked by UNC yesterday
It’s early and very cold this am in North Carolina where I am at even in a sweater
The Morales HR was to the opposite field. Susana was consistently 98-101 with a mid 80s slider. He walked 2 of 3 batters to start the game. Only 1 of the hits he yielded was hit hard.
Thanks for the firsthand report. Seems like a strong start for Susana at the new level. I’m never quite sure whether I’m supposed to be impressed when a guy throws that hard that consistently, or worried his elbow has a limited warranty. He did it with impressive control, particularly when you factor in that he only walked one guy after the first three.
Is Glasser the new Jake Alu? They don’t seem to know what to do with him, but he keeps hitting — five hits in the doubleheader yesterday.
