Worcester 12 Rochester 2
• Lord (L, 2-3) 2IP, 3H, 5R, 5ER, 3BB, 3K, HR(GS), WP
• Alu ⅔ IP, 0H, 0R, 0BB, 1K; 2-4, 2B(10), RBI

When a position player is your best reliever of the game, you know it was a bad night as Worcester sauced the Red Wings, 12-2. Brad Lord returned after a three-week stint on the I.L. but was torched for five runs on three hits—including a grand slam—and three walks over two innings. He struck out three while losing his third AAA game. Alu, who mopped up in the 9th without allowing a run, also went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI while Jackson Cluff and Jack Dunn both had two singles to lead the Red Wings offense.

Bowie 3 Harrisburg 1
• Shuman (L, 0-2) 4+ IP, 6H, 3R, 3ER, 2BB, 4K
• S. Reyes 3IP, 1H, 0R, 0BB, 2K, 1-0 IR-S
• Witt 1-2, 2B, BB
• Harris 1-4, R, 2B(10)

Bowie got two in the 3rd and one in the 5th and cruised to a 3-1 win over Harrisburg. Seth Shuman gave up all three BaySox runs on six hits and two walks over four-plus innings. The Senators avoided the shutout with the help of balk in the 9th with Jeremy De La Rosa hitting a sac fly to drive in Terone Harris, who had the fourth and final hit – a one-out double.

Wilmington 7 Brookyln 3
• Cornelio (W, 9-11) 5IP, 6H, 2R, 2ER, 2BB, 8K, HR, HBP
• Arias (H, 2) 2IP, 0H, 0R, 0BB, 4K
• Cruz 2-4, R, 2B, 2RBI, SB
• McKenzie 2-4, R, BB, SB
• Stehly 2-5, R, 2B

The Blue Rocks rallied for three in the 4th and held on to spin the Cyclones, 7-3. Riley Cornelio picked up his ninth win with five innings of two-run ball on six hits and two walks while striking out eight. Four batters had multiple hits (in the same game!) in Wilmington’s ten-hit parade, led by Armando Cruz with a two-run single and a double. The Blue Rocks struck out 12 times with T.J. White wearing a golden sombrero.

Lynchburg 5 Fredericksburg 1
• B. Romero (L, 0-2) 4IP, 6H, 5R, 3ER, 2BB, 3K, WP
• Bloebaum 2IP, 0H, 0R, 1BB, 5K
• Vaquero 1-3, BB, 2K
• Ochoa 1-3, RBI

Fredericksburg dropped another one to Lynchburg, 5-1. Brayan Romero let in all five Hillcats runs (three earned) on six hits and two walks over four innings to lose for the second time in seven Low-A starts. The FredNats were held to three hits, which all came in the first two innings. They walked three times and struck out 12 times.
