After Miguel Gomez stranded a runner for Theophile in the 5th and pitched a scoreless 6th, the Blue Rocks ‘pen took turns holding beers, letting in five runs over the Hot Rods’ final two “ups.” Wilmington collected 10 hits, with Phillip Glasser, Max Romero, and Will Frizzell getting two apiece.

He was rewarded with a no-decision when Kevin Rodriguez couldn’t cover for Brandon Pimentel’s error (one of four on the night for Fredericksburg) and let in the tying run in the 6th. Rodriguez would get the win, though Dannel Diaz (BB, HBP, WP, 2-1 IR-S) nearly made it two blown saves in one night. Nate Ochoa and Brenner Cox both homered while Roismar Quintana and Christhian Vaquero both went 2-for-4 to lead the FredNats attack.

Cue YES release , release song for Victor Robles
Say hello to the Bay Area , Victor ! One of them
One day, I hope Susana can find some consistency, because when he’s “on”, he looks out of this world. Unfortunately, he’s “off” much more than he’s on.
Rutledge hurts himself too often after getting ahead 0-2 and then wasting the advantage with non-competitive pitches. two hits and a walk came in that type of situation yesterday.
Spot on call FredMD
FCL Nats 10-10?? Wow . With those BAs stats ?
So many levels putting up nightly
Double digit whiff totals more than hit production .
Thoughts ?
Time to give Dylan Crews a high five
Good end toMay
May you cruise toDC by the end of cicada season
Still rooting for Rodney T with his era still under four
JDL get hot baby !!
We should applaud when a guy like Sammy Infante does his rehab work on FCL by working two bases on balls
Does anyone know how the prospects @ FCL are housed compared to the upper levels where host families take in players for the summer ??
Same as any other level, since host families were phased out with the last CBA: https://apnews.com/article/baseball-host-families-minor-leagues-494d59592e60c9b5953d84a89c1066a0
interesting article, I have friends who have housed players for years until it stopped.
