Rochester vs. St. Paul – PPD
Thunderstorms were cited for calling the game on Friday night. They’ll shoot to make it up this afternoon with a doubleheader.
Erie 5 Harrisburg 4 (10 inn.)
• Lord 5IP, 2H, 0R, 2BB, 6K
• Acosta 1IP, 2H, 4R, 3ER, 2BB, 1K, WP
• Tice (L, 1-1) 1⅓ IP, 1H, 1R, 0ER, 1BB, 1K
• Pinckney 4-4, R, BB, CS
• Lawson 3-4, R, 2B, CS, E
Harrisburg racked up 15 hits but could only push across four runs. That would cost them when the bullpen blew a 4-0 lead in the 8th as the Sea Wolves stole a 5-4 win in 10 innings. Starter Brad Lord blanked Erie for five innings, allowing two hits and two walks while striking out six. Daison Acosta was the culprit in the 8th as he let in four runs on two hits and two walks with an “assist” of a Cortland Lawson error. Ty Tice was charged with the loss. Andrew Pinckney reached base five times on four singles and a walk while Lawson singled twice and doubled once. Roster moves: C Onix Vega reassigned from Rochester.
Brooklyn 3 Wilmington 0
• Cornelio (L, 1-3) 4⅔ IP, 3H, 2R, 2ER, 3BB, 3K
• Pogue 2IP, 0H, 0R, 2BB, 1K
• T. Harris 1-3
• McHenry 0-3, BB
The Blue Rocks were shut out, 4-0 on one hit to lose for the third time in four games against the Cyclones. Riley Cornelio took the loss with two runs allowed on three hits and three walks over four and 2/3rds innings. He struck out three. Terone Harris singled with two out in the 4th for the first Wilmington baserunner. John McHenry drew a walk in the 6th to be the second and final Blue Rock to reach base. Roster moves: UT Viandel Peña, IF Murphy Stehly placed on 7-Day I.L.; IF Terone Harris reassigned from Harrisburg for MiLB rehab.
Delmarva 6 Fredericksburg 4
• Susana (L, 0-3) 4IP, 4H, 2R, 2ER, 1BB, 7K, HBP
• Bollenbacher 1IP, 0H, 0R, 1BB, 2K

Fredericksburg rallied for three in the top of the 9th but fell short, 6-4, to lose for the first time in seven games against Delmarva. Jarlin Susana lost for the third time in four starts, giving up two runs on four hits and a walk. He struck out seven. Nate Ochoa singled twice to lead the FredNats hit column of six.
Did they really report Trey Harris as a IF?
But with both Pena and Stehly getting injured this has to finally force either (or both) of Glasser and Dugas being promoted, right? Right?!
Looking more closely at the Blue Rocks line up, and it’s kind of a miracle they’re 12-7. The team OPS is .581, which is 2nd worst in the league, and .076 points below average. With their rash of injuries, there are only two active bats hitting above league average OPS of .657: Kevin Made (.794) and Daylen Lile (.720). Meanwhile, there’s currently 8 batters with an OPS below .500! They could use all the help they can get, especially because there’s currently 7 batters on the IL.
April short list of retired minor league players who realize the dream has shifted
One has to just sigh and wish them good fortune on the road ahead
Good job Kyle going 6 . Lucky man , ELP .
Dave Jageler just reported that Glasser got promoted to Wilmington. He’s on the roster but not in the lineup today. Hopefully he continues to hit and provide some much needed offense.
And Canton OHio Phil played RF !
