Rochester vs. Lehigh Valley – PPD
While we cannot confirm reports of animals leaving the area in groups of two, we can confirm that the Red Wings and Iron Pigs were rained out for a third consecutive day. Unlike the previous two games, this one will be made up during this series with a doubleheader on Sunday. Roster moves: OF Jacob Young recalled to Washington.

Harrisburg Senators
With a H/T to Mick Reinhard (@Mayflies on the Twitters), we have word on the first 2024 Harrisburg rotation. Andrew Alvarez gets the start tonight, followed by Cole Henry tomorrow, Dustin Saenz on Sunday, Kyle Luckham on Tuesday, and Michael Cuevas on Wednesday.

Wilmington Blue Rocks
The Blue Rocks also open at home, with Andry Lara getting the nod tonight, followed by Brad Lord tomorrow, and Luke Young on Sunday. It’s unclear who will round out the rotation, but according to the site preview, Rodney Cornelio, Chance Huff, and Rodney Theophile are candidates.

Fredericksburg Nationals
Fredericksburg hosts Delmarva for the first of only 21 games, as this year’s Carolina League schedule is weighted more heavily toward divisonal opponents, but still with an eye on travel (e.g., 24 games against Lynchburg, zero vs. Augusta).

        Not a big leap to wonder if poor Bennett Sousa will be giving Cole Henry a cell call this season ?

  2. here we go fellas and gals! real baseball, real prospects and good amounts of both. with an eye on DC to keep up with the handful of future reasons for hope the real attention should be directed here for a look at where the organization is going.

    I’m not into predictions but I’m expecting disappointments and surprises because that’s just the way it is.
