The Red Wings ‘pen gave up runs in five consecutive innings to turn a 1-1 tie into a 7-2 loss to the RailRiders. Roddery Muñoz went four-plus innings, giving up the first two Scranton/Wilkes-Barre runs on four hits and two walks. He struck out three. Anthony Banda gave up the deciding run in the 6th to lose for the fourth time. Derek Hill and Jack Dunn combined for a single (Dunn), double (Hill), four walks (two apiece), and a stolen base (Dunn) to lead the Rochester offense.

Harrisburg tied Binghamton in hits at six. Alas, it’s the run column that matters most as the Senators were shut out for the 14th time this season, 3-0. DJ Herz pitched into the 5th, allowing no runs on two hits and four walks over four and a 1/3rd. He struck out eight. Alex Troop got out of the 5th but was dinged for his 16th HR in the 6th, a three-run shot that decided the game. J.T. Arruda was the sole Harrisburg batter to reach base twice (two singles) while Jackson Cluff connected for the Sens’ only extra-base hit, a double in the 9th.

Five Blue Rocks errors led to six unearned runs as the Renegades retrieved an 8-5 bount…er, win. Brad Lord lost for the fifth time in eight High-A starts, charged with five runs (two earned) on eight hits and no walks over five-plus innings. Richard Guasch let in both inherited runners and a run of his own to get the blown save. Daylen Lile singled, homered, walked, and drove in two while Yohandy Morales and Matt Suggs both had two safeties and scored a run to lead the Wilmington offense.
