Career Stats
Skipping Mendoza past High-A to AA proved to be a disaster as the 23-y.o. was overmatched: .160/.274/.330 in 34G before he was sent down to Wilmington, where he was only marginally better (.225/.333/.312). The Nats gave him some reps at 3B, but the lion’s share was at 1B, where he was subpar – 16 errors in 80 games.

Career Stats
Boissierie was drafted in the 3rd Rd. out of Arizona and signed for a below-slot $600K and played in just 25 games, hitting a paltry .200/.299/.294. At UA, scouts noted an ability to hit to all fields with average power, work counts, and limit strikeouts. Some make comps to Mark Grace on defense, but 5E in 17G disputes that contention. Below-average speed and a below-average arm limit him to 1B or LF.

Career Stats
The Nats’ 8th Rd. pick in 2021, Frizzell hit .343/.451/.686 with 19HR as a senior at Texas A&M and .313/.353/.500 in 9G in the FCL. Scouts project plus power as a pro and predict he will hit for average but also peg him as a DH-type with limited skills on defense.
