Big surprise on Jordan Bocko’s release. Both him and Amos Willingham were decent enough at Fredericksburg to get promoted to Wilmington.
Both faltered at High A with Willinghan being sent back to Fredericksburg and Bocko now being released.
Bocko was a 28th round pick, so the lack of respect was built in. Wish him luck.
Rosters only expand from 26 to 28 in September.
i.e. teams will add one pitcher, one catcher.
Good to see Fuentes ready to get back into action. With the bullpen trades, and Rainey and Suero faltering (among others), this is a great time to put in a good audition for 2022.
