Editor’s note: Auburn has played 13 games, the GCL just 9 games.
Wow, if Cole Freeman, who is hitting only .223 at low A and turning 24 in Sept., is the “Good” for Hagerstown hitters, the bar must be pretty low! But I will say one more good thing about Freeman: he’s only striking out at a 13% clip. We also hope he’d been a good INF influence on Luis Garcia, who is just a shade less than six years younger than Freeman.
Garcia, who turned 18 in May, is slashing .288/.330/.392. His 6-0, 190 frame indicates that he should grow into more power. His 15% K rate is very promising for one so young. (And yes, he does have 17 errors, with 21 now for Antuna.)
Low enough for him to walk under 😉
One needs a fortune teller to sense who gets the 1-4 IP start for Suns on Sunday. Kyle Johnston? But
Attend in 96 F with heat index ?
No
It was pretty steamy last night, but the worst part was being in front of one those a-holes who has an opinion on everything and talks like a shark swims. The lack of an indoor voice was just an added bonus.
Jose Ferrer’s K numbers are otherworldly. Looking forward to seeing him in the USA.
