Now for the annual reminder: These pitchers are not necessarily the team’s #1 starter. They are, within a spot or so, how the Nationals would like the starters to align from Low-A to MLB in the event of promotions or injuries. Unfortunately, this is a scheduled post and I’m about out of time to write before I pack up and go to my conference, so no speculation about the rotations and starters…

It will be particularly interesting to see who is in the rotation at Hagerstown, as I think of at least six or seven of those guys as “starters.” There’s a heavy contingent from last year’s pitcher-heavy draft, so it will be interesting to see which ones move up first.
Of course their highest-picked pitcher is still MIA . . .
