Harrisburg jumped out to a 7-0 lead after 3½ and held on for 7-6 win vs. Akron. Brady Dragmire got the Jack Morris win with four runs let in on six hits over five and a 1/3rd innings. He walked two and struck out three. Andrew Robinson stranded the tying run in the 8th and worked around a one-out single in the 9th to earn the save, his 11th. Jose “Orange” Marmolejos, Raudy Read, and Osvaldo Abreu each went deep to mask a 2-for-14 night with RISP and 11 LOB as the Sens collected 13 hits and drew four walks.

The P-Nats also got an early lead, but could not hold it as the Red Sox rallied from 2-0 down to win, 3-2. Luis Reyes was rewarded with loss #13 for his quality start of three runs on three hits and two walks with five whiffs over six innings. While poor defense led to two unearned runs, the Potomac offense was limited to four hits and four walks and had just four chances with RISP (and went 0-for-4). Rhett Wiseman homered in the 2nd to drive in Jake Noll who had walked in front of him to account for the two P-Nats runs.

Make that four in a row and fourth place for Hagerstown with a 3-2 loss to Lakewood. Matt DeRosier allowed all three BlueClaws runs on five hits over five innings while striking out six for the “L.” A.J. Bogucki held down Lakewood for three innings, and Jake Barnett pinched the BlueClaws in the 9th, but the Suns couldn’t push across the tying run in the 9th. Blake Perkins drove in both Hagerstown runs with a two-out double in the 2nd and later walked, one of just two (2) Suns batter to reach base twice in a five-hit, three-walk night.
Auburn vs. Williamsport – PPD
The Doubledays and Crosscutters—winners of four and losers of five straight games, respectively—got the night off courtesy of the rain. They’ll shoot to make it up with doubleheader tonight.

The G-Nats got two runs early and if you’re reading this far, you know they didn’t hold on to it, as Angel Guillen was knocked for three runs on five hits in the 8th for a 4-2 loss. Carlos Acevedo came out of hiding down from Hagerstown for rehab and threw two scoreless innings. Tomas Alastre spun five innings of one-run ball with two hits, two walks, and nine strikeouts. The G-Nats managed just four hits and one walk, with Luis Garcia the sole G-Nat to reach base twice with a single and a double. Roster move: Carlos Acevedo assigned from Hagerstown for MiLB rehab.
