The Baysox returned the favor from Tuesday’s smackdown with a 14-2 win over the Senators on Wednesday. Taylor Hill got lit up for HR nos. 23, 24, and 25 and seven runs (nos. 94-100) on eight hits and three walks over four and a 1/3rd innings as he lost his fourth AA game. Raudy Read and Drew Ward both hit solo HRs in the 2nd to prevent the shutout. Roster moves: RHP Jimmy Cordero activated from the 3-Day TIL; UT Corban Joseph placed on the 7-Day DL.

Potomac got all its runs again in a single inning and stellar pitching to edge Myrtle Beach, 3-2 for their third straight win. Sterling Sharp bounced back from the beating he took in Winston-Salem with a quality start of two runs on six hits, no walks, and six whiffs over six innings. He threw 79 pitches, 58 for strikes. Tommy Peterson followed with a scoreless inning for the hold while Gilberto Mendez worked around a leadoff single in the 9th after a 1-2-3 eighth to earn his 11th save. Rhett Wiseman’s two-run triple capped the P-Nats’ three-run 4th while Ian Sagdal went 2-for-4 to lead the hit column.

Telmito Agustin’s leadoff HR in the 8th proved to be the difference as Hagerstown completed the three-game sweep of Delmarva with a 3-2 win in the finale. Brigham Hill started and pitched into the 6th when he gave up four of his seven hits surrendered to fall into a 2-2 tie. Carlos Pena came on with the bases loaded and one out and struck out the next two batters to strand all three runners, then six more over the final three innings to pick up the win. Jake Noll also went deep, hitting his 15th HR in the 4th as the Suns managed just five hits total.

The Tigers put up four in the 5th to erase an early 2-0 lead and held on for a 6-4 win over the Doubledays. Kyle Johnston took the loss with four runs allowed on seven hits and four walks while striking out two over four and a 1/3rd innings. Austin Guibor singled, walked, and tripled while Chance Shepard doubled and walked to lead the Auburn offense.

The G-Astros led from start to finish and dominated the G-Nats, 4-0. Tomas Alastre was charged with all four G-Astro runs on four hits and four walks over five innings for the loss. Gilberto Chu tossed three scoreless and Jose Jimenez one to keep things close The G-Nats were held to just four hits, two by Justin Connell and one each by Ricardo Mendez and Jamori Blash.
