Phillips Valdez and Brady Dragmire both turned in three scoreless innings of relief, with the win goin to Dragmire. Dan Gamache and Corban Joseph both went 3-for-5 and combined for three runs scored and three RBI to lead the Harrisburg hit column.

Jake Scudder went 4-for-5 with a homer and two RBI while Kameron Esthay singled once and doubled twice to lead Auburn’s 11-hit parade.
GCL Marlins vs. GCL Nationals – PPD
It rained again yesterday. They’ll try to make it up with a doubleheader on Sunday, the day after completing a suspended game and regularly scheduled game vs. Mets… weather permitting.
With two games in two days this weekend, sure seems like a good time for Will Crowe and Seth Romero to make their pro debuts in the GCL. #JustSayin
True but the golden value in farm arms is receiving choice dividends from a good collection of Latin arms
108 heat index today ? Good that dustys dudes are out west .
I did not realize Dootlittle had that hi octane
I always cringe when an effective pitcher tosses his hat in World baseball cup. March messed up Roark. Period
Crowe threw 92.1 innings in college this season while coming back from a year missed due to TJ. It’s possible that we may not see much of him on the farm this year at all. Romero, on the other hand, only pitched about a half a season due to suspensions and dismissal. He should be fresh as a daisy . . . and used to the heat and humidity, coming from that godforsaken place known as Houston.
In 19 games at Harrisburg, Spencer Kieboom hit .183. In 19 games at Syracuse, he has rearranged those numbers to .318. Syracuse seems to be a dumpster fire for everyone else, but a career lifeline for him.
Gabe Klobosits also seems to be finding Upstate NY to his liking, as he’s pitching much better at Auburn, NY, than he ever did at Auburn, AL. Another senior draftee, Jake Scudder, seem to be making himself as someone to watch.
Oh, and Jacob Turner did get DFA’d again yesterday. He’ll have to pass through waivers, again, to be able to report to Syracuse, again.
Fire better word than file
Fitting that Wil Crowe ER today on GB DB
Former legacy pick by Nats traded in David Phelps trade to Seattle .
Lucas Schiraldi off to Marlins
Turner has cleared waivers and been sent back to Syracuse.
Turner pitched vs Columbus as a guy deflated with a DFA tonight ?!
Flat off speed stuff??
Guest blogger @nats_prospects wonders if anyone on the farm is really untouchable in a trade:

Something we need to keep in mind about AAA. You need a squad to help a few guys mature .
Busiest month Nats brass may have ever had inDC ??
Rizzo loves those conversions to pitchers in GCL. Dan Butler.
Or he caddies as Catcher in PBI
Next march?? Lol
Luke, you’re completely on the mark, although they’d want a serious haul if Robles is included, and probably someone with several years of control (as they got with Eaton).
We’ll see. The buzz continues to be that the Nats are looking for a “true closer,” whatever that means. The only one out there probably worth having Robles in the conversation is Osuna. Iglesias has been good this year, but he has no “high-leverage” experience and is more costly since he was a Cuban signee and therefore not under the regular arb progression.
I could also see Robles (and Fedde) being included in a deal for a young, controlled starter like Stroman or Fulmer. But heck, why trade for a starter when we’ve now got the great EJax?! (I really expected to wake up this morning to the news of an 8-run loss.)
