The Riverdogs got three in 1st and three in the 2nd as they doubled up the Suns, 6-3 in the series opener. James Borque recovered to go seven innings, allowing all six Charleston runs (four earned) on seven hits and two walks while striking out two. A.J. Bogcki closed it out with two scorelss innings. Sheldon Neuse singled once, doubled twice, scored once, and drove in a run to lead the Hagerstown offense. Aberdeen took advantage of three Auburn errors to score six unearned runs in the middle innings as they turned a 3-2 lead into a 10-3 demolition of Auburn. Austin Voth was dinged for three runs in the first and four hits total over two rehab innings. He walked one and struck out two and was charged with the loss. Chance Shepard walked, singled, and scored twice while Jonathan pryor doubled twice and drove in a run to pace the Doubledays’ attack.
