Syracuse 9 Columbus 4
• Stevenson 2-4, 2R, 2B

Harrisburg 6 Binghamton 4
• Estevez (W, 3-1) 8IP, 4H, 0R, 2BB, 1K, WP
• Lara (SV, 1) 1IP, 0H, 0R, BB, 0K

• Joseph 1-3, 2B

Wirkin “For the Weekend” Estevez tossed eight shutout innings while Jose “Orange” Marmolejos smacked the solo HR in the 8th to give the Sens a 1-0 win over the Rumble Ponies. Estevez gave up just four hits and two walks while fanning just one, getting a little help from his fielders with a double play and a runner gunned down at second. Barulio Lara also got some help with the leather [S&M joke redacted] as a twin killing erased a leadoff walk and completed the shutout. It was the third win for Estevez and first save for Lara. Marmolejos also singled twice while Corban Joseph doubled to account for four of the seven Harrisburg hits.
