Goodness, where’s the good news here, boys and girls? That Voth’s ERA is still lower than Cole’s even after giving up eight runs? Ouch.

Luke, it looks like you were right all along about Austen Williams topping out at Potomac. As with all these guys, I hope he bounces back, but it’s not looking good.

Orange, however, does look ready to take the next step. Lind is probably going to get a good contract elsewhere next year, so they’ll be an opening for a 1B/LF bench bat. I guess a 40-man move will be due today to officially activate Orange, probably just moving Eaton to the 60-day.

Nice start from A. J. Bogucki. He was kind of a super reliever at UNC like Dane Dunning was at FLA, so I thought they might give him a look as a starter.

What’s the story of Neuse to the DL?

What are you alluding to Luke
With Marmellos last day on MLB rehab? Surely he won’t go to Cuse ?
I will catch Saturday or Sunday in
Hags. See what PP has with the leather even if Anderson will go with
Noll and Beckwith heavy with two studs on DL
Heavy pitching draft upcoming in 11 days

25 arms drafted ? My vegas guess.
        Draft 20-22 to find 2.

A rehab assignment can only last 30 days, and Orange was listed as on rehab, I guess so they didn’t have to make a 40-man roster move to bring him off the 60-day DL. They’ve got an easy 40-man move to make since Eaton has yet to be moved to the 60-day list. The assumption has been that he wasn’t moved because they were saving that slot in case they needed it to call up a non-roster reliever.

30 days for pitchers, 20 days for position players. Yesterday was the 20th day since Marmolejos was put on an MLB rehab. What will probably happen: optioned to Harrisburg, Eaton to 60-day DL. What’s not clear is who will be Shempped after Hernandez comes off the TIL.

Exactly as it happened. Orange was activated and formally optioned to H’burg. Eaton to the 60 day DL.

            Schempped. Writing that word down
Hagerstown needs to be careful with Dash Winningham not Tim Tebow this weekend

No, he probably won’t — and don’t call me Shirley.
