The Chiefs rallied for one in the 9th to send it to extras but gave it right back in the 10th for a 3-2 loss to the Clippers. Sean O’Sullivan made the spring training start of three innings and put on five baserunners but kept them from scoring. Cody Stterwhite, Trevor Gott, and Rafael Martin each gave up a run, with the loss going to Martin on a home run in the 10th. Matt Skole doubled and homered to lead the Syracuse offense.

Derek Eitel scattered eight hits over six innings but the one that left the yard was the difference in a 1-0 Harrisburg loss to Erie. Eitel walked three and struck out eight in the complete-game loss. Neftali Soto and Raudy Read both went 1-for-3 with a double, Osvaldo Abreu singled, and Drew Ward walked to comprise the Sens’ offensive output.

Neftali Soto and Khayyan Norfork both homered but the Derek Self and Jimmy Cordero did the same in reverse as the Seawolves swept the doubleheader with a 5-3 win in the nightcap. Self gave up two runs on three hits and two walks and struck out two while the loss went to Cordero, who had a similar linescore but no walks or whiffs. Alec Keller doubled and Jose “Orange” Marmolejos singled as the Sens got four (4) hits in the second game.

Tim Tebow’s inability to throw accurately helped Hagerstown walk off in the 9th in a 4-3 Hagerstown win over Columbia. Agustin, who led off the 9th with his second double, dashed home on Aldrem Corredor’s two-out single (and third hit of the night). Suns starter Carlos Pena was chased in the 3rd after letting in two runs on two hits and three walks. Yonathan Ramirez stranded three in the 3rd but gave up a solo HR in the fourth before settling down. He pitched two more scorless before turning the ball over to Mick VanVossen who put up three goose eggs to notch his third win.
