Syracuse’s two-game winning streak ended as the Clippers sailed past the Chiefs with an 11-5 win. Kyle McGowin somehow made it through five innings, letting in nine runs on seven hits and six walks for his fourth loss. Taylor Hill didn’t give up a homer but did give up four walks and four hits and all four Erie runs over six innings for the loss. Hagerstown coughed up three in the top of the 9th, got ’em back in the bottom half, and then gave it back in the 10th for a 8-7 loss. Starter James Bourque allowed three runs on four hits and a walk over six innings for a no-decision. The loss went to Tommy Peterson, who gave up three unearned runs in the 9th and one very earned run (HR) in the 10th. Telmito Agustin led the Suns’ hit column with 3-for-5 night, scoring twice, driving in a run, and getting hit by a pitch. Tim Tebow struck out four times, three times looking, to up his season total to 52 in 45 games.
