Syracuse scored four in the first and never looked back as they took another one from Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, 10-3. Joe Ross turned in a quality start of three three runs on five hits, the last two coming on a homer in his sixth and final inning for his first AAA win of ’17. Rafael Bautista led the hit column with two singles and a double while Matt Skole singled, doubled, and walked to lead the Chiefs attack. Roster moves: RHP A.J. Cole, LHP Matt Grace optioned from Washington.

Austen Williams lost for the fourth time in five starts as the Sens were struck down, 5-2 by the Thunder. Williams gave up four runs on seven hits and a walk over six innings while striking out four. Harrisburg managed just six hits, with Neftali Soto (two singles) and Alec Keller (single, walk) as the only two batters to reach base twice. Roster move: Jose Marmolejos assigned from Washington for MLB Rehab.

The Suns stopped a four-game slide with a 12-4 demolition of the Braves. Tyler Watson threw six shutout innings with four hits and one walk allowed while fanning eight to win his second game. Angelo Le Bruna came off the bench after Carter Kieboom left the game with an injury while running out a grounder to lead the Hagerstown barrage with a single, two doubles, and three RBI.
