It seems that Adan Eaton will be on the 60-day DL. This opens a spot on the 40-man, yes? If so, who do you see as the most likely addition to that roster? I apologize if this was brought up previously.

He will be eventually but no need to move him there until they need the spot. I’m guessing the addition will be something need based at the time, like re-calling Grant Green, or adding a non-40man veteran MLFA signee like Brandon Snyder or Neal Cotts (not that any of these guys are meriting the spot at the moment).

If we have some roster stability for a while, I could also see later in the year call ups for some AA talent; Stevenson covering in CF if Taylor falters, or Fedde covering in the rotation if we have an injury. But, no rush on starting either of those guys’ service clocks.

The Nats will wait until June (to delay arbitration), but if Stevenson keeps playing well, he will come up as a platoon option with MAT. Before that happens, they may make some additional moves with their 40 man. Also, the Nats will need to either put Jose Marmolejos back on the 40 man or expose him to other clubs when he gets activated.

22 runs with Soto getting a day off.

I hope Robles gets back in there soon.

Brian Goodwin gradually warming up after a weak ST & start to the year. Someone recently noted how that might have allowed Bautista to leapfrog him for the callup, but have to believe there will be more chances this year as the Nats try to figure out how to replace Eaton. Hope he can keep up the steady improvement so he can take advantage of the next shot.

Think there are questions about whether Goodwin can play CF defense at an acceptable MLB level.

Luke, I hope your MASN gig brings more traffic to the site . Both you & Todd are THE places to go for smart dialogue.

Possibly some web-page problems persisting: mainly iOs based, I think….

At home this weekend, I tried to view this on both my iphone and ipad. On my ipad, the page persisted on Sunday’s news and notes, and refreshing didn’t bring up the Monday post. Moving to my iphone instead, I could view the Monday post (with what appeared to be 6 comments), but clicking on the comments changed the view, but didn’t show any comments.

It was only when I came into work today (and used IE) that I can see and comment on the full Monday post.

Something cache related? I didn’t try clearing out my iphone or ipad (as I have tons of cookies I’d loose relating to other sites), but I guess the point is that it seems there is something not happening in the background that should be (and that is on IE)?

Anyone else getting the same problem?

I flushed the cache (sounds dirtier than it means, no?) on my dashboard here; that should help too. Unfortunately, calling GoDaddy is risking getting sold even more add-ons, so I prefer to go to them only when something is completely broken.
