Ryan Brinley picked up the win, tossing a 1-2-3 top of the 8t,h when Harrisburg broke out for four in the bottom of the 8th, highlighted by a two-run HR by Neftali Soto. The Sens made the most of their six hits and four walks, driving in three via the sacrifice fly for a misleading 1-for-7 mark with RISP.
Potomac vs. Lynchburg – PPD
Rain also put the brakes on the series opener between Potomac and Lynchburg. They’ll shoot to make this one up on Saturday rather than today, given the chance for a packed house for five hours weather forecast today.

• Vanvossen 3⅓ IP, 2H, 0R, BB, 3K

Mick VanVossen locked ’em down until the 9th, when he ceded to Jordan Mills who struck out two while stranding two. Jake Noll, who tied the game at 2-2 with sac fly in the 6th, led off the 9th with a single, took second on a bunt single by nick banks, stole third after an Anderson Franco whiff, and scored on Aldrem Corredor’s single. Roster move: OF Juan Soto placed on the 7-Day DL; OF Oliver Ortiz assigned from Extended Spring Training.
