The Bulls gored the Chiefs 13-3 to complete the three-game sweep. Taylor Hill served up HR nos. six and seven and 12 hits total over five and 2/3rds to take the loss, his second. He walked none and struck out five. Neal Cotts was the only reliever to not give up any runs, but did his part by letting in one of two inherited while getting the last out in Durham’s four-run 8th. Rafael Bautista walked, singled, and doubled, and scored a run to lead the Syracuse offense. Roster move: LHP Matt Grace optioned from Washington.

Harrisburg returns to action after its second scheduled off day in April with a six-game swing through lovely Altoona (kind of) and delightful Trenton (not really).

Jefry Rodriguez shook off a 1st-inning run to throw seven strong in a 7-1 win over Frederick in the series finale. Rodriguez gave up one run on five hits and struck out five while winning his second game. Jorge Pantoja and Mariano Rivera III both tossed a scoreless inning in relief. Rhett Wiseman and Taylor Gushue both went 2-for-4 with a homer, as they combined for three RBI and 13 total bases.

Juan Soto homered with two out in the 1st to give Hagerstown an early 1-0 lead. It was all Lexington after that in a 12-2 demolition. James Bourque took the loss with four runs allowed on four hits and two walks while striking out three. Soto also singled to finish 2-for-4 while leadoff man Blake Perkins went 1-for-3 with a walk and scored the other Suns run on an RBI single by Sheldon Neuse in the 7th.
