Harrisburg scored four times with two out in the 6th to take a 4-2 lead and held two-run going into the 9th when Richmond scored three to take the game, 6-5 and the series, 2-1. Erick Fedde pitched into the 6th but couldn’t get any outs as he finished with three runs allowed on nine hits and three walks over five-plus innings. The loss went to Andrew Robinson, who wild-pitched the tying run with two outs and gave up the game-winning RBI single in the 9th. Kevin Keyes came off the bench (presumably Rafael Bautista did not run to manager Matt LeCroy’s liking on a popup to short) and went 2-for-3 with a run scored while Isaac Ballou singled, walked, scored a run, and drove in two to lead the Sens offense.

The P-Nats ended their seven-game slide with a 5-4 win in 11 innings as Osvaldo Abreu scored on infield single by Bryan Mejia. Hector Silvestre made his first start for Potomac in nearly two years but was wild, walking five in four innings while giving up two runs on five hits with a single strikeout. The win went to Ryan Brinley with a scoreless 11th. Austin Davidson singled twice, scored twice, walked, and homered to lead Potomac’s nine-hit, three-walk offense. Roster moves: LHP Hector Silvestre reassigned from Hagerstown; RHP Dakota Bacus maneuvered onto the 7-Day DL retroactive to August 18.

Jefry Rodriguez surrendered a single run in the 1st and that was enough for Hagerstown to lose to Lexington, 1-0 in the opener. Rodriguez went five innings with two hits and three walks allowed while striking out four to lose for tenth time this season. Kelvin Gutierrez was the only Sun to reach base twice with a single and a walk as the Legends limited the offense to just five hits and two walks total.

Lexington scored in four of the first five innings and cruised to an 8-2 win in the nightcap to sweep the doubleheader from Hagerstown. Grant Borne was lit up for seven runs on nine hits and a walk over three and a 1/3rd innings to lose for the second time this season. Ian Sagdal singled and drove in a run, Grant DeBruin hit a solo HR, and Edwin Lora doubled and scored to account for the three (3) Suns hits.
Auburn vs. Williamsport – PPD
The Doubledays didn’t lose a tenth straight on Sunday thanks to the rain, though they were eliminated from the Pinckney Division race. They’ll make this one up with a doubleheader today.
