Caleb Ramsey’s two-out double drove in the gamewinner as the Chiefs walked off in the 10th, 3-2. Both teams scored two early — Syracuse in the 1st, Louisville in the 2nd — after which the game became a pitcher’s duel. Starter Austin Voth went six innings with the two Bats runs let in on five hits and three walks while striking out six. Erik Davis, Nick Masset, Rafael Martin, and Aaron Laffey each turned in a scoreless inning, with Laffey getting the win. Matt den Dekker went 2-for-4 and scored the decisive run while Brian Goodwin went 2-for-5 with a stolen base to lead the Chiefs’ seven-hit, five-walk offense. Harrisburg gave starter Greg Ross four runs early and he responded with seven scoreless innings in a 5-3 win over Hartford. Ross gave up three hits and a walk and struck out two as he won his first AA game of ’16. The Yard Goats railroaded Koda Glover for three runs in the 9th to break up the shutout bid. Kevin Keyes, Wilmer Difo, and Chris Bostick each had two hits and scored a run as they doubled, tripled, and homered respectively to pace the Sens offense. “Orange” Marmolejos homered early, Drew Ward homered late, but it wasn’t enough to prevent another 4-3 Potomac loss to Myrtle Beach. Dakota Bacus got the spot start and put in four innings of two-run ball on two hits and two walks while striking out four. The loss went to R.C. Orlan as he gave up the go-ahead run in the 5th on two hits and two walks. The P-Nats managed just six hits again, though five were for extra bases, including doubles by Alec Keller, Dale Carey, and Drew Vettleson.

Mariano Rivera III, one of five All-Stars named yesterday, bookended runs in the 8th and 10th to blow the save and lose the “W.” The loss went to Jorge Pantoja, who gave up three straight singles after getting the first out in the 12th. Austin Davidson led the Suns’ 14-hit parade with two singles, a double, and a homer, and scored three times while Victor Robles reached base five times with three singles, a walk, and a hit by pitch.
