Dodgers Fans who didn’t show up until the 3rd inning missed out on all the action as Harrisburg made Reading illiterate with an eight-run 2nd and shut them out, 8-0. Eleven Sens came to bat during the inning, capped off by a Kevin Keyes grand slam, as the big Texan made the Fightins pay for issuing an intentional walk in front of him to load the bases. Tyler Mapes was none the worse for the long wait between innings as he spun six scoreless innings with just two hits and a walk given up and four whiffs to win for the second time in as many starts. Nick Lee and Abel De Los Santos completed the whitewash with three more shutout innings of relief. Christopher Bostick, Rafael Bautista, and Stephen Perez each had two hits while Pleffner walked three times total to lead the ten-hit, five-walk attack.
