• Runion (L, 0-1) 2IP, 5H, 3R, 1ER, BB, K
• Ramsey 3-4, R, 2-2B
• Turner 3-5, R, 2B, RBI

The RailRiders scored four in the middle innings without an answer from the Chiefs until the 9th to hand Syracuse a 5-3 loss. Paolo Espino let in two on three hits, including a solo HR over five innings. He walked one and struck out five. Sam Runion suffered the loss with three runs allowed on five hits and a walk over two innings. Caleb Ramsey doubled twice and singled once while Trea Turner singled twice and doubled once to account for six of the eight Chiefs hits.

• Bostick 2-3, R, BB, RBI
• Bautista 2-4, R, 2RBI

Dodgers Fans who didn’t show up until the 3rd inning missed out on all the action as Harrisburg made Reading illiterate with an eight-run 2nd and shut them out, 8-0. Eleven Sens came to bat during the inning, capped off by a Kevin Keyes grand slam, as the big Texan made the Fightins pay for issuing an intentional walk in front of him to load the bases. Tyler Mapes was none the worse for the long wait between innings as he spun six scoreless innings with just two hits and a walk given up and four whiffs to win for the second time in as many starts. Nick Lee and Abel De Los Santos completed the whitewash with three more shutout innings of relief. Christopher Bostick, Rafael Bautista, and Stephen Perez each had two hits while Pleffner walked three times total to lead the ten-hit, five-walk attack.

Wilmington 6 Potomac 3

Taylor Guilbeau followed with four strong innings of two-hit relief with seven K’s and no walks to earn the save. Victor Robles singled, took second on a wild pitch, and scored on Matthew Page’s two-out single for the game’s only run.

Robles–making the difference in an amazing pitcher’s duel. Love it. 🙂

Karl had me looking up Agustin to give me insight.
He’s from the U.S. Virgin Islands, which I didn’t know we had anyone from there in the system.
He’s 1 size smaller than Robles and the main difference between them is Agustin doesn’t walk at all.

Like Robles, as Karl says, he’s just a pup so he’s doing well to be at Full Season ball at 19. Unlike Robles, expect him to be at Hagerstown for the full year.
