Programming Note
Just a quick note to update folks on what’s been going on.
Like a few years ago, one of my site plugins failed. Ironically, thanks to another plugin, the front page remained intact but anywhere else, you got an error message regarding said plugin. Well, long story short: It’s fixed and the bad plugin has been deleted.
I’ve been working on the on the player pages for the 2016 Watchlist and have put up three already (C, 1B, 2B). We’re at the stage where I skip over the ones that I believe will be written about by Sickels and Baseball America, ergo, “Report Not Written” for four thus far.
With long weekend upon us, I should have more time to work on the others, and perhaps an edition of “Morning Reading.”
Otherwise, it’s “Happy Friday!”
For me, I’m going to keep a bottle of champagne cold for tonight to celebrate NP back up & running.
FYI Adrian Sanchez named Columbian Winter League MVP. .365 avg; .478 slugging; 58 hits; 13 doubles.
Will he ever return to switch hitting in his OLD
Age ??
Hopefully not now that he has started having some success with his hitting.
Boone Whiting. Former STL/ COLO
AA option maybe even swing guy?
Cooper and a Johns numbers casualties .
Paging Gil Grissom !!!
Jeff, my friend! Am on the road in Tampa but watching carefully in between posts on Todd Boss’ site.
The best stuff of the month from the minors comes from Byron kerr. Tidbits about who showed up well in the instrux.
We’re all waiting for Rizzo to tinker a bit more before we settle into poring over Luke’s valuable watchlists as spring training guides. Otherwise, Boone Whiting is out of the Scott McGregor mold – take a former Cardinal arm because they scout young arms well.
