The Chiefs built an early 5-1 lead, blew it, then rallied in the 10th for 6-5 win over the RailRiders. Jose Lozada drew a leadoff walk, took second on an Emmanuel Burriss sacrifice, and came home on rulebook single as Isaac Ballou drove the ball over the centerfielder’s head for the gamewinner. Taylor Hill went the first six innings and gave up the first four runs on nine hits and a walk while striking out three for a no-decision. P.J. Walters gave up the equalizer, thus the blown save, in the 7th. Sam Runion got the win with three scoreless innings in the 8th, 9th, and 10th.

Akron broke through for three in the 3rd and stifled Harrisburg for a 3-1 win. Colin Bates gave up all three RubberDuck runs on a home run, and six hits total over six innings. He walked three and struck out four. Matt Purke pitched a scoreless 7th while Erik Davis kept Akron at bay in the 8th and 9th. Wilmer Difo scored the lone Senators run after leading off the 4th with a triple and coming home on a Brian Goodwin sacrifice fly. Goodwin later doubled, but the Sens mustered just five hits total and were 0-for-1 with RISP.

Tyler Mapes turned in another seven innings of one-run ball as the P-Nats tripled up the Red Sox, 6-2. Mapes allowed six hits and walked three for his sixth Hi-A win of ’15. Jake Johansen closed out the game with a run in the 8th and a scoreless 9th. Raudy Read and Brendan Webb both reached base four times and combined for two doubles, four runs scored, and four RBI as Potomac collected 11 hits and drew three walks total.

The Legends walked off with a two-run shot in the 10th for a 7-5 win over the Suns. Connor Bach started and let in three on five hits and a walk over four and a 1/3rd innings for a no-decision. The loss went to Deion Williams gave up the one hit and walked a batter for the loss, his second. Osvaldo Abreu was a homer short of the cycle as he went 4-for-5 with a run scored and an RBI to pace the Hagerstown offense.

Auburn never led in this one as they dropped a 6-3 decision to Batavia. Taylor Guilbeau gave up the first three runs on five hits and two walks over five innings for his third loss. He struck out seven. Victor Robles singled three times in five trips to the plate to lead the Doubledays’ 11-hit parade.
