The RedWings shut out the Chiefs for the second time in the series, 6-0. Taylor Hill lost for the 10th time this year with four runs allowed on eight hits and a walk over five innings. Matt Skole was the sole batter with multiple hits as Syracuse managed just four hits and and one walk and struck out 15 times.

Harrisburg drew five walks and collected five hits but couldn’t push any runs across as they were blanked by Richmond, 3-0. Colin Bates gave up all three Flying Squirrel runs on nine hits over six and a 1/3rd innings. Shawn Pleffner singled once and drew two walks while Cutter Dykstra went 2-for-4 to lead the Sens offense.

Potomac scored in each of the first four innings and demolished Frederick, 10-0 in the series finale. Tanner Roark pitched four scoreless innings in his side session first start for Potomac, with three hits, no walks, and five strikeouts. Brian Dupra posted a nearly identical line in relief to earn the win. Grant DeBruin led the 11-hit assault with two doubles, two runs scored, and two RBI in four plate appearances.

The BlueClaws scorched the Suns for six early, then got the gamewinner in the 8th as they edged the Suns, 7-6. Ryan Brinley surrendered a leadoff HR in the 8th to suffer the loss. Matthew Page and Conor Keniry both went 2-for-3 with a walk and a run scored to pace the Hagerstown offense. The loss eliminated Hagerstown from the postseason.

Auburn scored nine runs in the first three innings and held off Mahoning Valley, 9-8, to take the series, 2-1. Starter Grant Borne went the first three innings and was charged with five unearned runs on four hits and no walks over three innings. Mariano Rivera III got the win in relief. Rhett Wiseman and Kelvin Gutierrez both went 2-for-5 and combined for five RBI to lead the Doubledays’ attack.
Roster move: 3B Anderson Franco promoted from GCL Nationals.
