Richard Bleier spun seven innings of one-run ball on six hits, two walks, and three whiffs. He also contributed to his own case with a walk and a single and started two double plays. The offense racked up a baker’s dozen of hits with Trea Turner and Emmanuel Burriss both collecting two singles and a double and scoring two runs.

Ian Dickson walked five but made it through five innings with the lone Winston-Salem run let in on three hits. He struck out two and hit a batter.
