The Chiefs scored in three of the first five innings to take the series finale vs. the RailRiders, 5-2. Bruce Billings earned his fifth win with five innings of two-run ball, giving up seven hits, two walks, and fanning three. Rafael Martin and Paul Demny combined for three scoreless innings of relief before Jose Valverde came on to lock down the 9th with his seventh save. Tony Gwynn Jr. drove in three while Caleb Ramsey notched his second four-hit game in less than a week to lead the Syracuse offense.

A four-run 2nd was too much for Harrisburg to overcome as they dropped the series finale to Richmond, 5-1. Matt Spann was charged with those four runs gutted out six innings while losing his first AA game. He finished with 11 hits allowed, one walk, and struck out five.
Erik Davis closed out the game with one run let in over two innings. The Senators were limited to just five hits, with Matt Skole the only batter to reach base twice.

Potomac rallied for three in the bottom of the 7th to walk off with a 3-2 win in the opener. Phillips Valdez started and went the first five innings, letting in both Lynchburg runs on six hits and a walk while striking out six. Brian Dupra got the win in relief with two scoreless frames. Khayyan Norfork’s two-out single was the gamewinner as the P-Nats got three of their six hits in their final turn at the plate.
Potomac 4 Lynchburg 2 — GAME TWO

Potomac didn’t wait until the 7th to get the decisive three-spot, which they put up in the 5th in Game Two to snap a 1-1 tie. They held off a late charge from Lynchburg to complete the doubleheader sweep, 4-2. John Simms went the distance, allowing both Hillcats runs on five hits with one walk and one whiff over seven innings. Narciso Mesa singled twice and doubled once to go 3-for-4 and lead the P-Nats attack.

The Suns scored nine runs over 5th, 6th, and 7th innings to dig themselves out of a 6-1 hole and take a 10-6 lead. The Shorebirds rallied for two in the 9th but fell, 10-8. Mario Sanchez started but was sent packing after two innings, dinged for five runs on four hits, including a three-run HR in his second and final inning. Andrew Cooper got the win in relief while David Napoli stranded a runner in the 9th and shut the door for his fourth save. D.K. Carey, Matthew Page, and Raudy Ready each had two hits and two RBI for Hagerstown.
