Syracuse rallied from a 5-1 deficit to force extras, answered Durham’s run in the 11th, and then walked off in the 12th for a 9-8 win. Taylor Hill got the start but was pounded for six runs on nine hits, including three home runs, over five innings. He walked one and struck out one. The win went to Evan Meek, who saw his scoreless streak stopped at nine innings (22 dating back to 2014), though he gave up a solo HR in the 11th. Jason Martinson singled, doubled, and homered to go 3-for-6 and drive in three while Matt den Dekker walked with the bases loaded to score the winning run.

Harrisburg scored five unanswered runs, including three in the 7th, to complete a comeback from a 4-2 deficit for a 7-4 win over Altoona. Paolo Espino was chased from the game in the 4th, when the Curve scored all four runs, three of which were charged to him. He gave up seven hits and a walk while striking out three. Paul Demny got the win with two scoreless innings of relieve while Gilberto Mendez worked around two hits in the 9th to earn his third save. Derrick Robinson and Tony Renda both went 2-for-4 with a run scored to pace the Senators offense.

The Suns sent 12 men to the plate in an eight-run 1st and held off the Drive for an 11-7 win. Hagerstown starter Austen Williams won his fourth game with five innings of one-run ball, though it came on a HR in the 3rd. He gave six hits total, a walk, and struck out three. D.K. Carey led the 20-hit assault with four singles in five trips to the plate, followed by Jose “Orange” Marmolejos-Diaz and Grant DeBruin, who both went 3-for-5 with two runs scored.

Trea Turner Update
Turner remains hot as he was 2-for-4 with an RBI in an 11-1 Missions loss. After a month of play, he’s hitting .314/.392/.467 with 3HR, 15RBI, and 6SB.
