Syracuse rallied for six in the 2nd inning and completed the three-game sweep of Columbus with a 7-3 win. Starter Taylor Hill pitched into the 7th and got the win, allowing two runs on six hits, no walks and striking out five. Sam Runion got dusted up in the 9th for the 3rd Clipper run, but Evan Meek shut the door and got the last two outs for his 4th save. Emmanuel Burriss and Tony Gwynn Jr. both went 2-for-4 to lead the Chiefs offense.

An 8-4 lead was too much for the Sens ‘pen to hold as they coughed up seven runs in the 8th and 9th innings, capped off by a two-out walkoff grand slam, to lose 11-9. Abel De Los Santos served up the gamewinner after giving up a double, walk, and a hit batsman to load the bases in the 9th with two strikeouts sprinkled in. Colin Bates started and went the first four innings, allowing two runs on seven hits and a walk while fanning three. Tony Renda and Kevin Keyes both went 3-for-5 to lead the 13-hit attack that included four doubles, including two by Ricky Hague.

Potomac scored more than four runs, but let in more than five as they lost their third straight to Salem, 10-6. John Simms was sent packing after giving up five in the 2nd, finishing with six hits and three walks allowed to lose for the second time in as many starts.
Drew Ward drew four walks and drove in the final run with sacrifice fly in the 9th, while Isaac Ballou and Stephen Perez both singled and doubled to lead the P-Nats offense, which left on 11 and was 3-for-15 with RISP.

After taking leads of 2-0 and 4-2, the wheels came off the bus for Hagerstown as Greenville scored 12 unanswered runs for a 14-4 obliteration. Starter Austen Williams gave up the first three Drive runs on seven hits and a walk whiles striking out nine over four and 2/3rds innings. The loss went to Andrew Cooper, charged with four runs on six hits over two innings. “Orange” Marmolejos-Diaz went 4-for-5 with an RBI to lead the ten-hit, three-walk Suns offense.

Turner was 1-for-2 with a walk and a run scored and drove in a run with a sacrifice fly in a 6-0 Missions win.
