In the 8th, a hit batsman, sacrifice, a steal of 3B, and a throwing error plated the gamewinner for the IronPigs in a 6-5 win. A.J. Cole started but was roughed up for three runs on five hits over four innings and left after throwing 80 pitches. Burris also doubled and came around to scored on a Minicozzi groundout as both veterans finished at 2-for-5 to pace the nine-hit attack.
