A 6-1 lead was too big for Taylor Hill to hold as the Redwings put up five in the 4th to tie it and four in the 6th to pull away for an 11-7 win over the Chiefs. Hill was charged with six runs on eight hits, including a two-run home run. Sam Runion took the loss, giving up four of the final five Rochester runs. Michael Taylor (2-for-5), Ian Stewart (2-for-4), and Jason Martinson (1-for-3) each homered for Syracuse. Roster move: LHP Matt Grace recalled to Washington.

The Blue Rocks struck for five in the 5th en route to win 6-3 win against the P-Nats and prevent a series sweep. Starter Blake Schwartz took the loss, giving up five runs on eight hits over four and 2/3rds innings. Potomac racked up 12 hits and drew five walks, but left on 13 runners. Drew Ward went 4-for-5 with a double and two runs scored while Brandon Miller drove in three with an RBI double in the 3rd and a two-run homer in the 5th.

The 23-y.o. brother of Wilson was dinged for a two-run HR in his third inning of work, giving up five hits total while walking one and striking out two. Starter Luis Reyes allowed the first three Delmarva runs on seven hits and two walks over five-plus innings.
