Reading broke open a 3-1 game with a four-run 5th as they cruised to a 7-4 win over Harrisburg. Starter Austin Voth gave up all seven runs on nine hits and two walks as her suffered his first loss of the season. Brian Goodwin made his appearance in nearly 10 months but was 0-for-5 with two strikeouts while commtting an error. Stephen Perez led the Sens offense with two walks, two singles, and two runs scored while rehabbing Anthony Rendon was 1-for-2 with a double while playing five innings.

The Blue Claws put the pinch on the Suns, 2-1, sending Hagerstown to its fourth straight loss. Phillips Valdez started and went the first five innings, giving up an unearned run on four hits while striking out five. The loss went to Ryan Ullmann as he gave up the deciding run on pair of singles in the 7th. Alec Keller and Grant DeBruin both singled twice and doubled once while the rest of the lineup was 2-for-25 with eight strikeouts.

Trea Turner Update
Turner’s 10-game hit streak and 11-game on-base streak ended last night as he was 0-for-5 and struck out three times in a 5-3 San Antonio loss.
