Three Harrisburg pitchers took the fight out of Reading with a 3-0, six-hit shutout. Veteran Tim Alderson got the win with just four hits and two walks allowed over seven innings. Sammy Solis pitched around a double in the 8th for the hold. Gilberto Mendez preserved the win with a scoreless 9th for his first save of 2015. Tony Renda and Shawn Pleffner both went 2-for-4 while Caleb Ramsey scored the first and last Senators runs with a triple in the 1st and walk in the 8th.

Hagerstown tumbled to its third straight loss with a 4-0 shutout by Lakewood. Drew Van Orden let in two runs on six hits and a walk while striking out four. Mario Sanchez gave up single runs in the 6th and 7th as the put the game out of reach, as the Suns offense was limited to just four singles and two walks.
Trea Turner Update
Turner doubled in his second at-bat to extend his hit streak to 10 games, going 1-for-5 with two whiffs in a 5-4 San Antonio loss.
