Biggest surprise on farm so far has to be
Jason Martinson up in Syr. Playing many
    Positions hitting .364.

Good News …. Sammy Solis emerges from XST … Will be curious to see if he’s a starter or reliever

Bad News … DL for Bautista … In looking back at the recap for the game on the 15th, it looks like he got removed for a pinch runner after stealing a base … I assume that means some kind of a pulled muscle???

At this stage I tend to view most of the “7 day DL” moves as roster shenanigans, essentially adding to the number of players that a team gets to evaluate.

      Batista broke a finger.

Byron Kerr has info that Solis will be starting off as a reliever. The piece made it sound like they’re open to looking at him as a starter again if he stays healthy. If . . .

Broken finger sounds like head first
This gives Alec Keller a shot on Suns .
