The Tide tied it with an unearned run in the 8th and washed over Ryan Mattheus and Warner Madrigal for three in the 9th for a 4-1 victory. Destin Hood’s removal from the game was due to knee soreness, per Lyndsay Kramer of Syracuse.com.

The Senators won their seventh straight game and were on the verge of an 8-0 shutout before the wheels wobbled in the 9th as the BaySox got three walks and an error and scored four times in the 9th for the final 8-4 tally.

Potomac took the opener by scoring twice in 5th and 6th innings and three in 7th, overcoming a four-run outburst by Winston-Salem in the 6th, to walk off with a 7-6 win.
