Syracuse clipped the Red Wings pitchers for 17 hits and nine unanswered runs en route to a 10-2 win. Ryan Tatusko got back-to-back wins for the first time this season, allowing two runs on six hits and three walks over six-plus innings. It was his seventh quality start out of 11. Josh Johnson and Destin Hood both went 3-for-5 with a run scored as every Chiefs batter hit safely. Brock Peterson and Zach Walters both homered as eight of the Syracuse hits were of the extra-base variety. Roster moves: LHP Xavier Cedeno activated from 7-Day DL (eff. May 25), RHP Christian Garcia activated from 3-day TIL (eff. May 26), IF Zach Walters optioned from Washington, IF Jose Lozada placed on 7-Day DL (retroactive to May 26).

The umpires may have had an assist in this one as they refused to stop play in the 7th, just long enough for the Senators to draw back-to-back-to-back walks to tie the game at 4-4. A.J. Cole was hit hard, giving up four runs in the 1st and seven hits total but managed to make it through four innings. Colin Bates relieved with three scoreless while the Harrisburg offense single runs in the 2nd, 5th, 6th, and of course, the 7th. Play was halted with one out in the top of the 8th and will be resumed tonight with the regularly scheduled nine-inning game to follow.

Winston-Salem put up three crooked numbers to erase an early 1-0 Potomac lead and knocked the P-Nats out of 1st place with a 7-2 win. John Simms lost for the third time in six starts, giving up three runs on seven hits and three walks while striking out five over five innings. Bryan Harper allowed the final five Dash runs on three hits and three walks and did not help his cause with three wild pitches. Randolph Oduber and Pedro Severino both went 2-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored as Potomac was held to just six hits total. Roster move: RHP Ronald Pena placed on the 7-Day DL.
Delmarva 7 Hagerstown 2

Hector Silvestre was perhaps pushed an inning too far. The 21-y.o. southpaw gave up a three-run HR to third batter he faced in the bottom of the 7th to snap a 2-2 tie as the Shorebirds took a third straight from the Suns, 7-2. Silvestre gave up five runs total on eight hits and a walk, with one walk and a one K over six-plus innings. David Ramos was hit hard again in his second outing, giving up the final two Delmarva runs on five hits with neither a walk nor a strikeout in two innings pitched. Carlos Lopez reached base three times with a single, walk, and a double to lead the Hagerstown offense.
