Both the Senators and A.J. Cole won for the second time this season as Harrisburg tripled up Reading, 9-3. Cole struck out five and walked none while allowing just one run on three hits over five innings pitched. Destin Hood singled four times and stole three bases to lead the Sens’ ten-hit attack. Injury news: OF Drew Vettleson was hit in the hand in his first PA and replaced defensively two innings later. Mick Reinhard of Mayflies & Big Flies is reporting he’ll be sent for X-rays today with the hopes of confirming the initial diagnosis of a bruise.
