The Syracuse Chiefs being last in the IL in walks is very interesting. Why does this organization hate walks?

That is a very good question … sure seems like all the table-setters come up hating walks? The ghost of Cristian Guzman or something? Someone isn’t coaching the hitters all that well … oh wait he just got promoted to hitting coach for the parent club!

pretty tough grading on Ott teach, 3 out of 4 decent outings for the high schooler

Feeling in the organization is you can’t walk to the Major Leagues! Syracuse does have 2 hitters in the top ten in the IL Rahl and Perez.

Rahl is a ringer though … he’s a major league hitter disguised as an org guy.

Syracuse must have a great team when you can not play the number 6 hitter in the league.

Also an interesting organization that has a 2 year .300+ avg, .400+ obp that can’t crack the top 20 prospect list. I realize what the word “prospect” means but really?

That’s why Top XX lists are useless for nothing but generating arguments and pageviews.
