Ross Ohlendorf and Tanner Roark combined on a four-hit shutout as Syracuse won a rare home game versus Gwinnett, 5-0. Ohlendorf struck out 11 batter for the second straight start, allowing the Braves’ four hits and three walks. Roark’s streak without an earned run charged is now up to 18⅔ with two more scoreless innings. Micah Owings led the Chiefs attack with a single and a pair of doubles while Eury Perez and Corey Brown both homered.

Harrisburg hitters whiffed 19 times and stranded 11 runners, unable to capitalize on the five scoreless innings of relief by Matt Swynenberg.
