A ten-run 7th broke open a 13-9 slugfest as the Syracuse Chiefs dropped their fourth straight, 27-9. Starter Tanner Roark took the loss, giving up ten runs on twelve hits and a walk while striking out two over the first three and 2/3rds innings. J.C. Romero was the only pitcher not to be charged an earned run, though he did his part by letting in both inherited runners. Chris Marrero was a triple shy of the cycle and drove in three to lead the Syracuse attack.

Caleb Clay continued his dominance over Altoona, throwing six innings of one-run ball as the Senators held off a late charge for a 5-4 win. Clay allowed just three hits, walked none, and struck out five for his second straight win, both against the Curve. Jose Lozada reached base four times with two singles and two walks, driving in a run with a sac fly. As a team, however, Harrisburg left 10 men on base and went just 2-for-11 with RISP.

A four-run 6th by West Virginia broke open a 3-2 game as Hagerstown dropped this one, 7-4. Ronald Pena took the loss when he was knocked out in the 5th, as the Power surged past the Suns early 2-1 lead, as the Suns starter was charged with three runs (one earned) on four hits and three walks. Mike McQuillan stretched his on-base streak to 14 games with two singles, two walks and stole his sixth base while “Help Me” Wander Ramos drove in two and stole two, including home on a double steal with Brandon Miller.
